11am Deborah Suess will offer the morning message, “Money Can’t Buy Me Love” from Luke 12: 13-21 and her husband, Tim Jackson will join her on Facing Bench. We also have a special hymnody by the Beatles!
Noon-2:00 pm Bring a lunch or order one from Sheila and join us for a 2-hour Lunch and Learn on mindfulness, directly after Meeting. Jennifer Brigman, will introduce us to the emerging neuroscience that explains why practicing mindfulness helps reduce stress, anxiety and depression and promotes being present, aware and emotionally stable. You will have the opportunity to practice types of mindfulness meditation including walking and eating. If you would like lunch we are catering from Zoe’s for $10 per person. If interested, please let Sheila know by Thursday. The kitchen will be unlocked so you can put your lunch in the large refrigerator.
